Hardwood Floor Refinishing, Installation & Repair in East Hartford, CT

Sometimes a homeowner pulls up carpet and discovers something worth saving underneath. In one East Hartford home, that discovery was an old-world parquet floor.

Patrick Daigle Hardwood Flooring provides hardwood floor refinishing, parquet restoration, repairs, and wood floor installation throughout East Hartford, Connecticut, including homes near Main Street, Burnside Avenue, Silver Lane, Forbes Street, and the Connecticut River.

That parquet project also required transition work: an old threshold was removed, a wider board was installed, and the surrounding floor was carefully prepared before refinishing with a commercial sealer and oil-based polyurethane.

Parquet presents its own sanding challenges because the grain changes direction throughout the pattern. Whether we're restoring parquet, traditional strip oak, or repairing transitions between rooms, the floor itself determines how we approach the work.
