At the Devonwood home, previous refinishing had left heavy finish, puddles, and overlaps. The project also included a herringbone foyer requiring extensive hand and orbital sanding to preserve the pattern without creating new sanding lines. After careful preparation, the floors were rebuilt with an appropriate sealer and oil-based finish.
That project represents something we believe strongly: another coat of polyurethane isn't the answer to poor preparation. Beautiful refinishing begins with the wood underneath.
